The 16th AISC Steel Construction Manual: Issues Related to Connection Design Responsibility and Completeness of Contract Documents

The 16th Edition AISC Steel Construction Manual will be available in 2023. That publication will include the “Specification for Structural Steel Buildings” (AISC 360-22) and the “Code of Standard Practice for Steel Buildings and Bridges” (AISC 303-22). This seminar will review requirements related to delegation of connection design - what has changed, and what has not, and will review revisions related to EOR responsibilities regarding information required on the contract documents.
About Our Speaker:
Clifford Schwinger, P.E. is a structural engineer at The Harman Group, now IMEG. He has more than 40 years of experience designing building structures. He graduated from Lehigh University in 1976, joined The Harman Group in 1986, and is a member of the AISC Committee on Manuals.
