Keast & Hood Structural Engineers is excited to announce that Alex Stadel, PE has been named a 2018 Top Young Professional by Engineering News Record MidAtlantic. (Feb 15, 2018)
The award honors individuals under the age of 40 that have achieved impressive portfolio experience and demonstrated leadership early in their career.
Alex is a Structural Engineer II in Keast & Hood's Philadelphia office. His notable projects include the new Museum of the American Revolution and George Washington's Tent Support Structure. He is currently working on the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology renovations and he is assisting with the Frank Gehry renovations and expansions at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
As an adjunct associate professor at Drexel University, Alex has taught the structural sequence for the Architecture Department since 2012 and serves on the alumni advisory board for Drexel's Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering Department. He volunteers as a juror for Drexel University's Architecture Department's studio and thesis review panels, and has provided technical guidance for Drexel engineering senior design teams.
