Mark Lunden Retirement: Thank You for 36 Great Years
Mark has been a vital part of O&N’s success throughout his 36 years at the firm. During his tenure, Mark’s talents and dedication have enabled him to rise from design engineer to Vice President and Managing Principal. Mark’s structural engineering track was heavily influenced by his father Selim’s 50 years in the profession, 29 of them with O&N.
Mark has been integral in helping to shape our community and has worked on over a thousand projects, including St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, the Roman Catholic Science Building, Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack, and the Philadelphia Airport’s Terminal E Expansion. Recently Mark has been acting behind the scenes as a mentor, imparting his wisdom and common sense approach to engineering to all of our staff and managing the business side of our expanding company.
O&N President Anthony Naccarato shared, “I have had the pleasure of working alongside Mark during my entire career, and no one exemplifies excellence in structural engineering finer than he has during his years at O&N. Mark’s contributions to the firm are too numerous to list, but I can say without hesitation that our firm’s success could not have been possible without his excellent work over the last 36 years. I am a better engineer and person for having had the good fortune of having Mark as a friend and colleague. All of us at O&N wish him the very best during his well-deserved retirement!”
Thank you, Mark, for your mentorship, leadership, and dedication to O&N over the past 36 years!
